Program Overview
The Practical Nursing program includes 1,374 hours of laboratory, classroom, and clinical practice. The curriculum covers practical-nursing knowledge and skills consistent with the role and scope of practice defined by the Florida Board of Nursing.

Admissions
Applicants are expected to complete the college admissions process, submit required education records, and meet the entrance requirements established for the program. The current college materials describe a $150 non-refundable application fee and an entrance-examination process, with exemptions in some circumstances for applicants who already hold a qualifying college degree.
Clinical and Health Requirements
Nursing students may need medical clearance, required immunization documentation, drug screening, CPR certification, and background screening before clinical rotations. Clinical sites may impose additional requirements.
